Let it flow - let life flow through you

All I can say about my day in Bali today is: Wow! I can't find words for the whole last week! Bali reminds me again how it feels to let everything in life flow freely. And that every day!

The people here all have their job, but I don't get the impression they would press themselves into something or force themselves to do something. At least they wouldn't feel that way, I'm sure. Hard work, ie physical and long working days, you see everywhere in Bali. Here they work from 9am-2pm, the vendors and drivers don't know weekends. What I mean is, here you can clearly feel what it means to be in the moment and present. You see people in the market stalls, drivers, so-called guides who show tourists around, and many others. They are simply doing their job and most of them are totally friendly and open. We Europeans would perhaps call them poor, because they don't own much, some of them have holes in their clothes and the scooters often look quite demolished. But you can feel all the love everywhere, as gifts for the gods are laid out every day, everything is decorated with flowers and people dress festively when they go to the temple. There is a respect here for life and what they have and do. One senses little resistance, no aggression or bad mood. No personal details are taken at the hotel, later they simply pay in cash, that's it. Trust is still lived here. In the restaurant, I am treated like a queen, my bag is carried for me, and the waitress beams and thanks me several times when I tell her this is the second time I have been to her restaurant. They are aware of what they are given and they communicate that.

I was absolutely hooked by Ubud, so I just stayed. Why not, I am free and can do everything I want. I am also thinking a lot about my life at home in Germany. How much stress we put ourselves through and how much resistance there often is here. Mistrust, resentment, but also shame and fear. We keep ourselves on a low frequency. In Bali, people have chosen the attitude of "happiness" in life and through spiritual practice this positive mindset is also cultivated on a daily basis. Money is collected for the temples because it is believed to be a cycle and one likes to give what one receives. In Bali, people greet each other with words that say, may you experience prosperity. You just feel this loving mentality when you are here. I now understand why so many people from all over the world come here, wanting more out of life and wanting to make a difference in the world. The strong and positive energy here acts as a catalyst for one's own personal development. I myself feel like I'm moving forward every day, through all the inspiring talks I have, the singing, dancing and also the ceremonies you can attend.

My time here has reminded me again how important it is to follow my feeling. My intuition had told me: fly to Bali without knowing exactly why. But now I know. I should feel it, as life can be: easy, beautiful, colourful and self-determined. Our intuition tells us so much every day, but we often just don't listen. We like to rely on our head and think about things. The shortcut for everything would be to feel instead of think. Our heart knows the way and our intuition speaks to us to show us. I live here every day from one into the other without planning. And that feels so good! And time somehow passes more slowly because I experience everything so intensely. At the waterfall today I washed away all the resistance that is inside me. The water was so great and refreshing that I let it flow even longer. Life can be easy and beautiful. It doesn't need stress, pressure and resistance. And without it, we experience the true flow of life, where everything falls into place as it should! I take a lot with me from Bali that I want to integrate even more into my life. I send you my love from Bali!

Where do you feel resistance and stress? Where are you not yet in the flow? How do you deal with it? Do you think about a solution or do you feel inside yourself? What happens when you act according to your feeling, not your head? Do you trust your intuition? Do you think your head has all the answers?
