It's been a while since I last wrote here. But now I'm getting back to you. Sometimes there are times when so much is going on and other things demand my absolute attention. Writing is so important to me and also to give you something on your way. It is a matter of the heart for me. That's why I thought I'd just let you continue to share in my process, as I'm sure you can take something valuable away from it as well.

I have learned so much this past year and have grown so much inside. The question that kept popping up was the question of my identity. A super exciting question! We so often identify with what we do every day, our lives and our jobs - maybe even with our surroundings and the material things around us. Yet it is just what we do or have. Of course, that's what we put on, based on the identity we've ascribed to ourselves. But a lot of this happens unconsciously and the magical thing is, as soon as we become aware of it, a large space of possibilities opens up. Our identity can be a completely different one if we look closely and free ourselves from what we have burdened ourselves with. When we stop living as someone we are not, for example, because we have learned to be that way. If we are not aware of this, there is often no progress in life and we repeat what we do anyway, based on our identity. Then, over time, a boredom and also frustration creeps into life - a longing for change. Maybe you know the feeling! The great thing is, we can use all this and simply give ourselves our own identity or at least gradually peel out what is laid out in the depths of us. It doesn't take as much as you might think. Maybe it needs some time and a constant curiosity to get to know and discover yourself even better. But well, you can take it :-).

I picked up an exciting task a few weeks or months ago, which I then did myself. I always try things out myself before I teach them. The effect was really great and this exercise changed so many things for me. That's probably why my magazine and podcast exist. It was about thinking about what are the three essential identities that we carry within us and would ascribe to ourselves. The exciting thing about all of this is simply that when we engage in this task and the process involved, we subsequently see ourselves in a completely different light. As already mentioned, what distinguishes us and also what we want to be often gets lost in everyday life and it is now a matter of gradually bringing our essence back to light. In short, to remember ourselves again. It is in life that we come into the world completely, then lose ourselves more and more through imprints and then need felt a lifetime to remember again. This journey of experience is called life.

Therefore, take a piece of paper and cloth and ask yourself: What are your three essential identities?

Questions that can help you with this: What makes you special? Who do you want to be? In which "roles" do you feel most comfortable and when are you most in your power? What do you love and what could you not live without? What fulfills you and makes you happy?

Feel into yourself and your heart and take your time. Believe me, the answers will come. And write down what comes and do not judge it. Because you might be surprised about the answers at first. But that's totally ok. Sometimes we just forget things and then it was probably time to remind you again. So be happy about it and don't force it to have to understand it now.

An example of identities: I love bringing people together, sharing knowledge and doing something valuable for our world and future. So I see myself as a kind of mediator and ambassador, a person who creates clarity and who likes to support those who share the same mission. Of course, this is only one side of many that I carry within me. At this point I would simply like to give you a short impulse and also an example of how you can get to the bottom of your essence.

In the next step you can come closer to your soul task, your calling and also your vision by uncovering your identities. These identities are like signposts that point in the direction of your talents and needs and thus in the direction of your soul task. After all, who doesn't wish in their core to do something that fulfills us and makes us happy? Something that gives you a sense of being used and meaningful? If you then live these identities, you will notice that your life will feel more and more coherent, fulfilled and also easier. Things will fall into place and new doors will open.

So I hereby invite you to take a closer look and do this simple exercise. It is simple, but very powerful. Maybe you are a teacher, maybe an artist, an entertainer, or even a strong person who gives support to others, a supporter. Get involved with it and just see what it does to you!

And in a next step you can check to what extent you already live this in this life and how you can anchor it even more in your everyday life. But that would be perhaps then again topic for a completely separate contribution, to which we can devote then again our in rest our whole attention.

I send you my love and wish you much joy with this exercise. And please report how you are doing with it. That would interest me very much and also motivate others very much! Best regards, Katharina
